HERITAGE SKILLS DAY 2020 – POSTPONED

THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE REARRANGED AT A LATER DATE

As part of the Bigg Market and Newcastle Cathedral National Lottery Heritage Fund Projects attendees will be able to explore Newcastle’s Medieval past with free entry to Newcastle Castle all day.

Throughout the day there will be a number of activities including:

Hard Hat Tours ~ Wood and Stone Carving Demonstrations ~ Heritage Craft Market ~

Medieval MasterChef ~ Tower Tours of the Cathedral ~ Digital Technology Demonstrations ~ And Much More~

There will also be a programme of talks by heritage professionals including

Newcastle City Council ~ Historic England ~ Newcastle Cathedral ~

Ouseburn Trust ~ Northumberland National Park
